On June 23, Arsen Torosyan, the deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction, met with the representatives of the World Bank Tania Dmytraczenko, Adanna Deborah Ugochi Chuwuma and Toomas Palu.

Welcoming the guests, Arsen Torosyan highlighted the continuous support provided by the World Bank for the reforms of our country.

The sides referred to the reforms implemented in the sphere of healthcare of our country. In particular, a number of issues related to the introduction of a comprehensive health insurance system in Armenia were discussed. In this context, the interlocutors spoke about the work done in the past and discussed the mechanisms and resources necessary for the introduction of the system, as well as further steps.

Arsen Torosyan noted that he proposed to amend the draft concept of introducing a comprehensive health insurance, which is currently under discussion.

The guests presented their approaches and experience on the issue. The representatives of the World Bank noted that they are ready to provide support for Armenia to implement the program.
